“A wonderful guesthouse a few miles outside of town. It had everything we needed and the communication with the owners was great. The only small downside was the combo washer/dryer took 5 hours to do a very small load and we couldn't use it overnight because it was right next to the pullout bed.”

“Bucket list experience as we were able to witness eruption 45 of Kīlauea. This cabin is in the perfect location to visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. If you are a light sleeper, bring some noise cancelling headphones as the coqui frogs make quite a bit of noise at night. ”

“This place is a great - hosts are amazing people. They are intelligent, passionate, flexible, and friendly. Sunsrise view is great. Incredibly safe environment. You really feel like you have a degree of quiet separation from the bustle of Hilo that is only a short drive away. So best of both worlds. The tradeoff is that the village access does require a short drive on unpaved roads. So prepare mentally that this is a slightly more secluded location. You get a simple but thoughtfully...

“Everything about this property was absolutely amazing! I felt like I moved into an actual home just because I was able to wash and dry my clothes with accessible machines when I need to; WITH DETERGENT PROVIDED! I enjoyed that so much. I can’t wait to book this place again for future trips back to Hilo!”
