“The cabin was tucked away at the back of the property within the ohia forest. It was perfect size for two people. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need. And the hot tub was a huge bonus. It was such a peaceful stay.”

“We loved our stay at this cottage in Volcano. The grounds and house were so peaceful and we absolutely loved the outdoor shower with the frog serenade. Great location for visiting Volcano National Park as well. Property was in excellent condition and clean. Communication with property manager was excellent as well. “The grounds and the view are great, the cabin has been partially restored. It was a very rustic kitchen set-up, but we made it work. Only real problem were ants. They could find a single grain of sugar anywhere.We named the rooster that hangs around there Hei-Hei. We also had the gecko brothers who kept sneaking into kitchen.The pond has toads in it and they sing at night, counted 6 one night. “This place was amazing! So clean and SO creative. Lots of cute frog-themed touches. They definitely put heart in to developing this oasis. Definitely arrive in the afternoon if possible so you can enjoy the property. The waterfalls and creeks are gorgeous! Be sure to eat before you arrive or bring food, as nearby options are limited. “This place is very rural. Katherine is a very nice host.The unit itself is about 10 ft by 20ft. The inside table for dining is in the photo with a glass top. There are two stools, a coffee maker, a small fridge, and a Queen-sized bed on a platform. The mattress was very comfortable. It might be a bit challenging for older guests to get on the bed. There is an outside table with umbrella and chairs. The stove and sink with utensils and crockery are on a prep surface outside of the bedroom. The...
