Pons
Pons is a relatively small village but you can easily fill most of your day here if you are leisurely.
Emotion emerges from this benevolent place unique in Europe that time and the vagaries of history have spared. Built in the 12th and 13th centuries, this hospital complex has been listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1998 under the roads of St-Jacques-de-Compostelle. In a vast room and under the beautiful Roman porch, poor, sick, orphans, travelers and pilgrims penniless found there refuge and protection. This place of visit also has a medicinal garden, inspired by the gardens of monastery. Over 3000m², discover the healing plants, aromatic plants, useful plants, forgotten vegetables and treat yourself to a moment of rest near the magic eel fountain which you will be told.
