beach stay 2025

Our family stayed at this house hold for a long weekend. The house itself is pretty worn down in some aspects. There is a loose step on the steps, in which in personally got injured on. Upon our arrival, there were 8 guests total and had a total of 2 wash cloths in the entire house. We didn’t even all have a rag the first night. Communication to through Vacasa was terrible. They weren’t helpful at all. Thankfully the owner of the property was staying next door and was able to get us some. Location of this property was great. Didn’t have a lot of pans and utensils. It was ok, not our favorite place we have stayed. Beds were not comfortable at all.

Emerald Isle stay was awesome

The property is at a great location and plenty of room for five kids ,6 adults. Three bedrooms well furnished. Property was well upkept. Nice kitchen with some pots and pans. Overall experience was nice and lots of memories made

Fun Stay

Enjoyed the home, it met our expectations. Kitchen had everything we needed. The deck was great and access to the beach was wonderful. However, seemed like lots of sand fleas.

Great beachfront property

We all loved the house. It is very spacious. It is a great floor plan for a mixed group of people. The stairs are not too steep so that was nice for our elderly dog. Yes, they are pet friendly too. I would rent this property again for sure!

Weekend Getaway

We had a group of four women staying at the property for a weekend getaway and it was a great choice. More than enough room for a party of four, stocked kitchen so we could make meals, plenty of soap/towels/etc. for our stay, variety of seating areas indoor and out, and a beautiful view. There are multiple outdoor decks along with some lawn space and direct access to the beach. The beach was pretty full of vehicles on the weekend days but cleared out a bit once the weekday rolled around. Be sure to bring bug spray because the mosquitos got pretty bad in the evening if there wasn't a breeze. I would note that one of the beds (the queen by itself in the room downstairs) seemed old and was pretty soft and squeaky (enough so that we didn't end up sleeping in it). Overall it was a solid beach house, not so nice that you're nervous you're going to break/spill something but not rundown or uncomfortable at all.

Beautiful beach house

The house was pretty and the views were spectacular!!! The house did need repairs in the balcony. Lots of loose rungs that presented a danger for small kids. The air didn't cool the upstairs well or the small BR downstairs. Leak in the ceiling of the master bath.

Beach house with potential

We were pleased with the location. Access to the beach was good and there was not a lot of traffic. Our grandkids were able to play without too much worry about vehicles. There was a good consistent ocean breeze which was greatly appreciated during the scheduled power outage. (It would have been nice to have been informed about this planned outage.) The floorplan was nice and there was access to the balconies from each room. However, the house could use some general maintenance and upkeep. Upon arrival, we noticed that the refrigerator was not cooling as it should. My husband and son, cleaned the dust caked vent grates at the bottom of the refrigerator which seemed to help the situation. There were a few cracked windows, doors which stuck, and duct tape was used to repair balcony railing. The AC vents constantly sweated and dripped on the kitchen table and loveseat. The AC temperature was kept at 73 degrees as directed by a note left at the property. Whenever these issues are addressed, this would then be a 5 star rental.

Only one problem

The house is great and everything clean and supplies provided as expected. Great location provided us the perfect distance from the Go topless events when we were ready to settle in. Nice beach area of ur own. Everything was in working order. A few broken pieces of furniture should have been removed. Not a big deal for us, the note in the seat was enough but if we had smaller children it could have been an issue keeping them off. The biggest and only issue we all had was the mattresses on the beds were the worst any of us ever slept on. Pain from a bad nights sleep makes for a bad vacation. The best way to describe them is they are the equivalent to baby bed mattresses. Bad. Other than that great house and accommodations.

Beautiful house as close to the beach as you can get!

The house has been nicely updated. We loved where the kitchen table is placed in front of the windows so all you see is beautiful beach! The kitchen could have a few more items for cooking, and the downstairs queen mattress felt like we were sleeping on just springs, so may need to be replaced but those would be our only complaints. The rental company was perfect at communicating from beginning to end. Loved the house will definitely recommend to family and would stay here again!

Great Rental

This was a great rental, directly on the beach. The place is set up well and we had no issues at all. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend anyone to stay here. There were a few broken items like the foot rest on one of the dining room chairs, but we are not picky and spend most of our time outside so it wasnt a big deal. People need to realize that this is a beach front rental... things are not going to be as if the house was just built and never stayed in and the beach and ocean take a toll on these beach front homes. One note.... we did not have an neighbors in the red house next door during our stay, so cannot comment on if that would have been a bother seeing as how that house is really close to this one. All and all 5 stars, pretty modern concept in the home.!!!

Great location, but has some safety hazards

This house has a great layout, has plenty of room, and is right on the beach. The local property manager, Gina, is great. We also had no problems with Vacasa. However, there are some safety hazards that must be addressed: 1- top deck has two places that rails are missing. Children could fall out! 2- Guest bedroom, downstairs, has a broken outlet cover (left edge of the bed). The hot, electrical connection is exposed. If a child put their finger in there, they would be electrocuted! This house would not pass a safety inspection by law enforcement. 3- Downstairs, guest bedroom door to the deck has been screw-gunned shut, thus removing the main emergency exit from that bedroom. 4- There is a water leak underneath the kitchen sink that has been there for some time. The damage is visible.

Let Down

The best part of the property is that it is beachfront and the kitchen. House needs maintenance. Also, had property staff come by unannounced. Enjoyed the time we had higher expectations from pictures and other reviews.

Good Beachfront Home

We had a nice stay at this property, a COVID escape for Thanksgiving :) The house is in a great location with easy beach access. Plenty of space in the house and a good layout of rooms and bathrooms. We found the place to be “as advertised,” with only a few problem items like difficult doors and some windows without screens (which was sad because we wanted them open for the sound of the waves - but so did the mosquitos!) The big disappointment was the cleanliness. Yes, it’s the beach so don’t expect a spotless situation - But we had toothpaste on a bathroom wall, a dirty shower, and lots of unclean dishes. If you’re not a neat freak, this place will be fine.

Beachfront Views

Truly enjoyed the views from all the decks facing the beach. To truly feel the breeze we recommend top deck and deck with the gazebo. Great views from the kitchen too through dining area windows. Very nice!

Awesome Beach Front

Great Location- peaceful and out of the crowds, relaxing porches and everything was clean . Nothing glamorous but perfect for a family with young kids . Stayed at the beach all day, and enjoyed the relaxing house at night. Would recommend if you are anting to stay in the area,

Doors suck and no lighting outside

The door is where I will start on of them was completely off the hinges and what rest of them only closed with the deadbolt locked from the inside there was no key for the back doors so you had to put something in front of the door to keep closed bad thing if you have children or pets also there was no lighting on the outside of the house but with all this said after my check out we stayed on the beach for the day to enjoy and we noticed after we checked out there was a crew of people replacing light and thing around the house why do I have to pay the same money as the next guy that gets treated much better with the amenities it doesn’t seem right to me I would like a refund
