OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
- The unit is 3608 square feet in size.
- Your reservation includes $400 worth of beach and adventure gear rental! You will be able to shop for bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, or even beach carts. No need to find the rental company, your gear will be delivered to your beach house and will be waiting for your arrival.
- Renters must be at least 25 years old.
- Events that exceed the maximum number of guests or require supervision are not allowed.
- This is a non-smoking property.
- Bringing a pet? Please check with us on size and number limits for pets.

*The elevator is residential grade and may occasionally experience disruptions. Our staff will do all we can to repair any issues and get the elevator functional again. However, if an elevator repair tech/Company is needed repair times can extend several days due to our remote location. If you have someone in your party with mobility issues please plan accordingly as this amenity cannot be guaranteed.

Great house that needs maintenance!

The house and location were just what we were looking for our family vacation. BUT the house needs to be maintained. The elevator never worked even though the mgmt company knew about it being out of order on Saturday. They said they would contact elevator company to repair and advise when they would be there but never heard another word about the elevator. Asked for an adjustment I the rental fee but have heard nothing in the 2 weeks since we checked out. Also, the refrigerator and freezer had broken shelves, one ceiling fan was broken and the outdoor “shower” was simply a pipe with no nozzle. They did sent a very good employee who tried to fix the fan on Sunday and he determined the fan could not be fixed. He said he would get it replaced but again, we never heard from the mgmt company. Other than the elevator, the issues were minor but if not maintained the house will continue to deteriorate.

Nice house!

Loved the house. It was nice and updated with lots of room to sit, eat, and relax. LOTS of stairs which made having a toddler a little more difficult but overall the house, rooms, and pool were great!

GREAT property!

The property is perfect for larger families. The pictures are very accurate and do not do the rental property justice. The pool area was great for relaxing after the day on the beach. We are happy that we chose this property. A very quiet and safe neighborhood close to grocery stores. The only thing we would change is the check in time. We would absolutely recommend this property for family vacations. As much as we loved it, we may look for something next time with an earlier check in time.

We had a great time

The best part of this beach house is it's so close to the beach and it has a pool. The worst part is the elevator did not work and the house is 4 stories. My 64 year old husband had an injury afterward. The floors and pool area had lots of sand. We couldn't get in because they changed the code. Besides this- we had lots of fun!

Great stay- Family friendly- More cleaning

We enjoyed a wonderful stay for 7 nights with our large family of 8 children and 11 adults. Private and secluded beach, spacious kitchen set up for cooking large meals, great appliances and cooking equipment provided, and plenty of spaces to unwind and relax. The elevator was handy for handicap needs, and the rooms were nice. The pool is a shaded reprieve from the sun, and main TV is very nice. The lower deck area has a good grill and comfortable outdoor furniture. The mattresses were fairly comfortable. Some of the bed sheets were in need of replacing, not in good condition. The downside was the cleanliness of the property- it had been swept, mopped, and wiped down when we arrived. However, walls were dirty and in need of new paint, the bathroom showers/tubs had mold in small areas, and some of the surfaces needed a good clean. Overall we had a great stay and loved the area. We definitely would stay again.

Amazing Family Vacation!

My mom has a fairly advanced cancer and we were looking for a home to stay in to fulfill her dream of vacationing with all her grandkids. We needed a place that could accommodate all 19 of us that had an elevator and beach access for a wheelchair as well as an amazing kitchen (food allergies so we prepare all of our meals at home) and a pool for the kids. Beacon on the Beach was a perfect fit for our huge family vacation. Brittnee was so nice to work with to make this happen for us and we're so grateful! We did have an elevator malfunction but my dad was able to temporarily get it functioning and Brittnee stayed on the repair company and made sure they came out as soon as possible to repair it. We rented a beach motorized wheelchair through beach mobility and used an access point next door to get her to the beach - the private boardwalk to the house was perfect for us and for a manual wheelchair but a bit narrow to safely navigate using the wider beach chair. The pool was perfect for the kids when they got tired of the waves or needed a break from the sun (it's shaded!!) And we used it during the storm as well. The rooms were beautiful - especially the balcony rooms - and the bunk rooms were perfect for all the cousins! The TV in the living area was great for multiplayer play on our gaming consoles and a couple family movie nights while the dining table had plenty of space for board and card games. We were all in love with the massive refrigerator and beautiful gas stove. We brought a lot of our own pans to cook in and the stove was perfect for our large cast iron griddle. I enjoyed preparing meals in such a beautiful space. If you're looking for a beach front location able to sleep large groups you've found the right house! 💜

Life with family on thevbeach

House was all it said it would be. Beach was not crowded and very nice Three generations had a wonderful visit. Had problem with elevator Brittnee was most helpful. Elevator was fixed by Thursday but we were so used to using the steps we did not use it. Can’t say enough about how helpful she was. Definitely recommend this beach house for everyone

Great location and price.

Overall this is a great place to stay for a large group. It was the best price I could find on the beach anywhere for the amount of people we were bringing. We had 27 of us age 1 month to 70. There was plenty of space for all of us. The master upstairs is awesome, but it could have been split up allowing for at least one more bedroom. It wasn’t really fair giving that master suite to anyone in our group. The location on the beach was what really drew us to this house. The beach was nice and not crowded at all. It was very peaceful there. The kitchen was fully stocked and even had some misc items like foil and plastic bags that were nice to have and not have to purchase. The couch was broken when we arrived, but the house manager had warned us about this beforehand. I know it is hard to get furniture right now. But it became a little dangerous because internal parts started sticking out by the time we left. We had some issues with the dishwashers. We couldn’t get them to run every time, but that might have been a user error. The manager sent someone to come look at it and fix it. I feel these big houses never have enough dining chairs. We ended up letting the kids eat at the table and the adults either stood or sat on couches while we ate.

Florida has forgotten coast

My family and I enjoyed a week at this property and we couldn’t be happier. Upon check-in there were a couple issues that were not communicated to us ,however, they were not deal breakers. The sofa was broken in one area and there was some mold in one of the guest bathrooms but a quick call to the property manager and I was well. In addition the heater for the pool was in operable and once again a call to the property manager and maintenance was there to take care of the situation. The home itself is in great shape. Everything worked in the kitchen and the location of the home couldn’t be better. The addition of the elevator made bringing luggage up and down the stairs a breeze and it was a welcome feature. The local area seems to be bouncing back from the storm of a few years ago. We were able to enjoy several restaurants in the area and it seems as though things are going back to normal. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a secluded, back to the old Florida style relaxed vacation they’re looking for.

Family Vaca

All 16 of us, 8 adults and 8 kids, 14 and under had a wonderful week at this property. Plenty of room to spread out. Pool was a plus. The kids loved it. Very nice to just walk out your door and be on the beach. Nice layout and very comfy beds. Only thing that did not work was the mini fridge by the pool. Our 5 day cooler did the trick. Would definitely stay again and recommend

Great for families

Our family of 14, ranging from 7 months to 60 years, had a wonderful vacation at this property. We had plenty of room and the kitchen was easy to access and was well stocked with everything we needed to cook big meals. The main floor has an open floor plan, which added to our enjoyment at mealtimes and on movie nights. There were plenty of bedrooms, and the kids loved sharing a bunk room! The pool is small, but lots of fun for a dip after the beach. Ocean views from multiple balconies can’t be beat. We had the beach to ourselves most of the time and the kids loved the fine white sand for building and digging. If you are looking for a spot for a large family get away, this is a good one.

A few things

The good, beautiful locations, kitchen is well equipped for real cooking, the kitchen is great, the bathrooms are very pretty. View are great. The bad the pool broke and no refund was offered, since we were staying in February this is the big reason we booked this house, the beds were not made up, and we had to do a lot of extra work that seems like it should have been the cleaning company’s responsibility. Host did not provide any house info ( address, door code) until a day before stay, the area around the house has broken glass and is very littered.

Smooth sailing

We had a great time at this property. The home was clean an set up very nicely for a large group. Beach was beautiful and not crowded at all. The property manager is outstanding. The pool heater was not working when we arrived and she had it fixed ASAP. Could not ask for better service . We would definitely stay at this property again.

Great Escape

This was a great vacation. We had 10 adults and 2 small children. Location was right on the beach with a pool. The kitichen was well equipped with all supplies we needed. The extra large TV in the family room made watching the football games even better. The manager was easy to contact and answer questions we had. Annual Family Trip

The home is beautiful and located on a beautiful beach. Everything was as promised except the WiFi and TVs didn’t work all week. Repair people came twice, and were unable to repair. The gas stove also wouldn’t light sometimes. Otherwise, it was great!

Perfect for Family

Our family of 23 (13 kids ages 2-14 & 10 adults) had an incredible time! The house was the perfect set up for our large family. The views on every level were fantastic and the short walk back and forth to the water made beach life with small kids easy. The kitchen was big enough for everyone to be in and there was enough seating inside to accommodate us all eating at one time. The elevator was a welcomed bonus for hauling in all of our luggage and helping our grandparents go up and down floors. We can’t wait to do it all again!

Wonderful time in February!

Our recent stay at Beacon on the Beach was fantastic! The house was amazing and the photos did not do it justice. Every floor of the house has breathtaking views of the beach and ocean with balconies on each floor to take in the beautiful sunsets. The bedrooms were great and offered plenty of room for our family. The kitchen was stocked with everything a family could possible need to cook with, and then some! The main level has an open concept making it easy for everyone to be together whether they are in the kitchen, living, or dining areas of the floor. Our kids loved the heated pool and being just steps away from the beach. The beach was not crowded in fact we only saw a handful of people during our time playing on the beach on our trip. Port St. Joe has some really great restaurants that serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We took an afternoon drive over to Cape San Blas, which was less than a 30 minute drive, where we took a walk along the beach that was covered with weathered and worn tree stumps until we found the Donna Kay which is a fishing boat that ended up beached on the shore during Hurricane Michael back in 2018. It was a great experience for our kids, and a great beach for find awesome seashells! Our family will be staying at this property again in the future and I will be recommending it to friends and family that are looking for an amazing house on a quiet beach.

We rented this house for a family get together that included 6 families. The house is gorgeous and the location is perfect, just steps from the ocean, and a short drive to Port St. Joe (most everything in Mexico Beach is still closed so we didn't go there). The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you would need. We had to call the maintenance man a couple times but he was always very responsive and quick to answer. Our family was very happy with the house. There are really just three things we were disappointed in-there are not enough chairs on the balconies. The house is for 25 guests but on the main floor balcony there were only 3 chairs. In addition to this 2 of the mattresses in the 4th floor bunk room were awful, all you could feel were the springs. Even my 6 year old son didn't like sleeping on it. Lastly, there were not enough sheets for the trundle beds and the pull out couch. That being said though it is still a great house and I would definitely recommend it to any large groups visiting the area.
