âI recently had a wonderful stay at Athol Park Guest House, and I wanted to share my experience:
1. The location is fantastic, situated in a peaceful area just a short walk from the beach.
2. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
3. Breakfast provided a reasonable selection of choices.
4.My single room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all necessary amenities.
I highly recommend this guest house!â
âWe had an amazing time! Hotel is lovely, clean and well presented; the owners can't do enough for you! We could not fault this hotel, everything was as you would expect from a 4 star property. Our bedroom was spacious, lovely high power shower, ample space for your belongings and a cosy sofa ideal for watching TV. âThis establishment is amazing! The rooms are cozy and roomy. If you're visiting for the races the grandstand is just a short walk from the hotel. The island is very accommodating in general but the biggest star of the show is Lucy. She helped me get a bicycle delivered to the hotel for me to ride around on, then showed me where to dry my clothes after the island gave me a free shower. âA very nice quiet hotel located right of the promenade , villa marina and near many good places to eat and shop within walking distance. Excellent staff provides quiet, friendly service. Room was very comfortable , quiet and everything worked well and was well maintained. Itâs a great choice in Douglas. Restaurant had very good food too.â
âA very well appointed hotel on the Seafront of Douglas. Staff freindly and restaurant was very good. French style menu. The hotel has kept its early years character whilst implementing modern touches to compliment the decor. Room was spacious and again well appointed with all you need, tea/coffee making, flat screen tv, fridge with water snd plenty sockets/ USB charge points. Highly recommend.â
âRoom was clean and tidy, staff were all very friendly. A special mention to Vinus who went above and beyond everyday. No problems at all when we needed to extend our stay when the ferry was cancelled.â
âThe breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Good enough location. Those are the positive things. But I got a room in a neighbour hotel, apparently owned by same owner. Third floor, no elevator. The floor was really askew. I had to use a pillow beside me so I wouldnât fall from the bed! Literally! The staircase floors were not in line either. It didnât feel really safe to be honest.
