âVery cute very nice cottage. There is no air conditioning however it is on the bay and the cottages have windows on both sides that create and awesome breeze and cools off perfectly.â
âVery comfortable bed and room, excellent location, loved drinking coffee on our patio overlooking the sea and watching the boats come and go from the harbor and the birds and other wildlife-we watched otters playing on our last day! Very quiet and fun little beach just steps down from our room. Short walk to two local and fun cafes. No elevator so you need to be able to carry your belongings upstairs or ask for the first floor. Older motel but nice updates in rooms. Would absolutely return to...
âThe Inn was conveniently located near many sites and restaurants. Large grassy area was perfect for dog walking. Very helpful front office staff. Good wi-fi. Only negatives were towels in the room were very, very thin and there wasn't a towel rack in Room 29.â
âBeautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit.â
âThis was a beautiful old building with friendly staff and a great on site restaurant. We had a great stay! If you love history and old buildings then you'll love it! If you want modern then this is not the right place for you. The room was updated and the bed was comfortable. â
âI was greeted by Karla who is a charming host. We chatted for awhile on the porch. Friendly and comfortable, this place was like stepping into a ready made family.

âThe location is exceptional. The history of the building is one of a kind. The lobby and art gallery are great. My wife and I have stayed at the Old Alcohol Plant Inn twice, and we are already thinking about going back there next year.â
âThe curtains were excellent; I almost slept through check-out, they kept my room so dark! The price and location were also excellent; I was right across the street from a great teriyaki place and less than ten minutes from the drive-in I made the trip for in the first place. If I ever want a hotel in Oak Harbor again, this will be my first pick.â
