âStayed 2 nights in twin room. The room was small ,however it had everything we needed. There was tea/ coffe/ hot chocolate available in the room that was replenished daily. The room was warm as we were top floor, but there was a fan provided which was very welcome. The bathroom was very small, and you may find a struggle if on larger size, however like rest of property was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and really good. â

Fantastic shower, tea and coffee and a well stocked kitchen that was spotlessly clean.

Access was easy and instructions regarding everything were in the folder in the room.
Really enjoyed our stay would definitely stay again and recommend as well to family and friends.â
âI found the hotel perfect for a short stay in Torquay. Only a 10 minute walk to the seafront and free parking just outside the entrance. I had a lovely cooked breakfast every morning with some extra treats. Really friendly place and I'm going back there in the summer. I'm using the hotel as a base to meet my friends who return to Torquay twice a year.â
âA very nice stay , last minute booking, very warmly greeted on arrival, asked what I wanted for breakfast and what time. Nice comfortable room with adaquate en-suite facilities with plenty of water provided in the room. In the morning, I was again greeted in a warm manner and had one of the best breakfasts Iâve had. Iâve paid double price and not had this quality. The owners really couldnât do enough for me. â
âNice and friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. Clean room. Quiet, slept well. Coffee and tea with cookies on the room. Great breakfast, plenty to chose from. Convenient location of the hotel. The room was very small, but it was ok for me. Good value for money.
The gym was not so well equipped, though. â
âMatina apts are in a great location right next to the beach. The pool area are great. Food at the pool bar is great value and nicely presented. All staff are friendly and helpful. Staff also remember you as people come year after year to these apts. You feel comfortable and safe. â
âFrom check in which was very straightforward to checkout which was exactly the same we had a fantastic 5 night break. Great communication from Will the owner made everything easy. Clean room with comfortable bed and bedding. Special mention for the breakfast which was spot on with some great local produce. Lovely outdoor seating area too. We'll definitely return. Thank you. â

They ensured we had everything we needed and gave recommendations for the local area.
