The only downside side is with the frequent power outages in Eleuthera a backup generator for the property is a worthwhile investment. 5-6 hour outages daily almost totally ruined the vacation. A treasure
Eleuthera means freedom, and free we felt. Atop a little hill sits the Bahamian farm house, tucked away by native bush and trees. The house fills with warm light and cool breeze. It is true and pure island living in the best say.
