“A unique experience. Staying in a treehouse was very high on the novelty scale. Expect a slight slope in the floor, and don't forget to close the windows before you go to bed as the monkeys are sneaky and will steal any fruit that you leave on the dining table. A fun night.
If you are averse to a staircase, this might not suit, you though.”
“They had no record of our reaction (that we had paid confirmation through hotels.com. They charged us cash to get a room. (Options in the area and time we arrived extremely limited). Had to try and negotiate an 11 check out at 9 suggested he wanted us out by 10 (place had no other guests). Very noisey all night”

“It's fascinating to wake up in a room with the great mountains view and tasty Sri Lank breakfast. The owner also offers tuk-tuk ride in Ella. They have one-day package and one ride. The location is a bit far fr city center, it’s better because of quiet. Each tuk-tuk ride between hotel to city center is LRK 500.”

The rooms were good
But…. This is not a place for the light sleeper or someone with difficulty walking. The area around is quite loud and the train at 5am is probably going to wake you up no matter where in Ella you’re trying to sleep. The walk to the hotel is short but really steep like REALLY STEEP.
The kitchen staff is never there even though it says you can order food til 8 pm so it’s impossible to...

“Mysigt hotell med fantastisk vy. Trevlig personal, fin pool och god mat. Läget va toppen med ca 5 minuters promenad till in till stan. Rekommenderar verkligen att stanna här några nätter för att utforska Ella! Det låg uppe i bergen och hade ingen hiss, vilket kan vara bra att veta. ”
“We just stayed for 1 night. We enjoyed it. The room was spacious and we slept very well. The manager was friendly and helpful and we liked the breakfast with a lot of fruits.
100 meters downhill from the hotel was the main street with shops and restaurants. The famous Chill Out Cafe restaurant was very close.
We want to recommend the hotel.”

Un peu éloigné de la ville, il faut prendre un tuktuk, cependant l'hôtel nous a proposé leur service.

"Kändes nyrenoverat, fantastisk utsikt över Little Adams Peak och Ella Rock. Utmärkt mat; både middag och frukost höll hög kvalitet. Reser man med chaufför finns rum till denne, som enligt vår chaufför var ett bra rum. "
St Mark’s Church är bara en av sevärdheterna i Badulla, så missa inte allt annat som finns att se och göra. Skogarna lockar till härliga promenader i området, och du kan även njuta av bergen.
