“Stayed at The Clair for 3 nights recently. The front desk staff was very efficient and welcoming throughout the stay. The location was very convenient, and overall the hotel was fairly quiet — even being on the 3rd floor near the pool area, hallway noise was minimal. The hotel was renovated a few years ago, according to staff, and while everything appeared to be in acceptable condition from a maintenance standpoint, the overall design direction felt confused. “Loved the style and cleanliness and how helpful the staff was ! We had a room with 2 bunk beds and I was looking so forward to being on one of the top bunks but !! The way the ladder is designed to climb up , makes it very difficult to climb up to the top! It’s a straight up not slanted ladder and you have to turn to the right to grab the bed safety guard which is difficult to do as you’re trying to pull yourself to the top !
