“The worst hotel I have ever been, the tv doesn’t work, the restroom is so old and doesn’t have much. Too noisy, people are talking outside and you hear loud early morning. ”

“This is a very basic stay. Room was relatively clean; however, there was no hot or warm water - staff never told us upon check-in even though we found out a pipe burst a few days prior and it hadn't been repaired. Curtains didn't open or close, air system was difficult to adjust, and the walls are extremely thin so you can hear everything outside your door. Prior to booking or staying, I recommend asking when the room was previously stayed in and whether there are any issues.”

“I would definitely stay at this property again. The rooms were impeccable. We made use of the basketball court and the pool. Plenty of food options just 5 minutes from the hotel. Yes, they will try to sell you a timeshare. But, I made my lack of interest clear as soon as I found out I had to get my key from a salesperson's office and they weren't too pushy after that. Staff was easily accessible for questions via text. 10/10. ”

“Warning this property is not pet friendly. I booked it because it was advertised as such and spent an hour on the phone with Expedia after my arrival only to be locked out of my hotel rooms and have to drive 3.5 hours back home the same night. ”

“This is a fabulous little hotel for families, we’ve been coming here for years and always return. Our children love the pool and splash pad, mini golf, and little playground. Colonial Williamsburg is accessible from the parking lot, it’s so fun to walk around without needing our car for the day. Convenient to Busch Gardens as well. This hotel is nostalgic and simple, we have wonderful family memories here and will choose Woodlands every time we are in Williamsburg. ”

“The room lighting could’ve been better. The lights by the bed didn’t work independently, to turn off one you got to go through turning on the other one, then the two of them and finally would all turn off. No switch next to the entrance door. Breakfast omelettes were OK, not very nice. Few bread options.”
