“I was a bit nervous after reading the bad reviews. However, it was a great stay. Everything you need and good location. Great with a garage, the view was nice and close to habour town shopping. A thing I didn't like was that we booked for five people and paid, only to receive a txt a week before we were due to stay, saying that the apartment was only for four guests and we had to pay $25 extra/night for an extra bed. I would still recommend to stay here when on the gold coast!”

“Nice environment and relaxing atmosphere. Nimrod is located outside central Port Douglas but the buses stop just outside the entrance. Very nice pool and BBQ area. The apartment was spacious and fairly well maintained with AC, functioning kitchen with dishwasher, washer and dryer. The downside was the very expensive and unreasonably slow wifi.”

“We stayed at Azzura Green Apartments and unfortunately our experience got off to a terrible start. For the first three nights, our apartment had a significant cockroach infestation. We reported the issue and were moved to another apartment, which we appreciated, but there was no apology for the situation, no acknowledgment of how unpleasant it was, and no compensation for the food that had been contaminated and had to be thrown away. “Pros - Amazing view, friendly staff, comfortable bed, nice shower, excellent location for the Gabba, nearby food places were nice. Cons - Bathroom was incredibly small, lounge furniture was horribly uncomfortable, tiny table for dining, no TV in bedrooms, garbage chute too small and no directions for other bins, couldn't figure out washer/dryer, no luggage trolleys.”
