“This ocean front beach house was the perfect location for us to relax after several days of hiking in the rain forest. The interior was beautifully renovated with tile floors, high wood ceilings and mini split air conditioners that kept it nice and cool. “This place is awesome. A wooden lodge in the middle of the jungle might not be everyones cup of tea, but if it is yours, you are in for a treat. The people at Omega is very nice and there are daily tours of different kinds. But the main thing is location in the jungle. Not a luxury lodge. But a wonderful place all in all.”

“We only stayed one night but wish we stayed longer. La Villa de Soledad is a beautiful mansion in the traditional Spanish style with an open courtyard. The room was spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable. John and Soledad were kind and accommodating hosts. We had an incredible dinner there cooked by Soledad - maybe the best during our trip to Honduras. The short walk down to the river is really nice and it honestly beats having a pool. ”
