“We had a wonderful time at the Pompano! The first thing that stands out are the owners and the staff. The two brothers running it are incredibly engaged and helpful. Their family has owned the resort for 70 years, and it's obvious how much they care about the guests and the property. Every staff member we met was also incredibly pleasant and helpful. “Our first trip to Bermuda & all was excellent! We stayed at the Grotto Bay Resort & did the all inclusive plan. It was so worth the expense as 3 delicious meals per day & all the drinks included (alcoholic as well). All the employees went above & beyond to make our stay exceptional! The wait staff was top notch, meals were gourmet & variety of drinks fantastic! The beach area is a bit small but still plenty of space to enjoy. The onsite cave with swimming was a real treat! “A beautiful hotel with a nice private beach. Unfortunately the service was not good at all. We celebrated my husband’s 60th birthday there, but they missed quite a few things that I had booked and triple checked once we got there as well as other reservations that they missed.
I was there 35+ years ago, but it was much better then, food, service and overall impression.
