We had fun exploring the Kitty Hawk and Virginia Beach area. The screen porch provided great protection from the insects while allowing the sounds of the water to lull you into relaxation. ”

“Cabin was perfect for a long weekend stay. A few more towels would have been nice for 4 guests. Would recommend a stay here. ”

“We had a wonderful stay! The home was very clean, and the host was very responsive to messages. It’s a beautiful location on the water with kayaks and a paddle board provided. Our dogs loved roaming the property and the neighbors are all very nice and welcoming. The highlight was watching the sunsets out on the dock. We would highly recommend!”

“Okay the property is very expensive for the price that I paid. So definitely no go and will not suggest this to anyone. Additionally, the host is very polite on the face of it, but is really unfair when it comes to the problem solving. Like literally, the bathroom knob was broken and the host is like IDC if someone come into the bathroom while you poop.”

“They didn't tell me they had somebody living on site until I was on my way there, between midnight and 2:30 a.m., because I told them I would be late, getting there.There was somebody else there when I got there in the room that I was supposed to be in, plus the person that lives on site.The key was where it was supposed to be, but the outside door was locked, and I rang the doorbell several times, and contacted the host, by calling and sending messages, and I still had to wait about 20 minutes...

“We enjoyed our stay and seeing all of the horses! It was perfect for our long weekend trip! My only suggestion is to provide more information on the listing. It did say 4x4 but not that you would be driving on the beach for several miles and that there are no restaurants, gas or stores after corolla. A big thank you to Brad for providing dinner for weary travelers! I should have done more research! It was so worth it!”

“It is a beautiful country style cottage with wonderful scenery. There was games to play like scavenger hunt which was super fun with our youngest niece. The outside was so relaxing with the backyard setting. The house was inviting and had everything we needed and them some. We really enjoy it ”

“The stairs were a bit much for our dog. I ended up having to carry my dog down each time. It's obviously an older building, updates that have been made are pretty decent. It could still use some more, especially in the bathroom to make it a much better experience. ”

On key thing, although the listing says 4x4 it was easy for us to overlook the fact that there was an unpaved road on the beach that was required to get to the home. Thank goodness we had 4x4. Couple other things, the rule book in the home mentioned outside access to water for rinsing sand from underneath vehicles, but the outside...
