“A gorgeous, magical location. Note it is rustic. You will hear wind against the cabin walls, you will shower with a garden hose and use a composting toilet. If you can hang with that and can be fairly self-sufficient, you'll have an incredible time here. Sheets and towels are clean. Small basic kitchenette. Limited internet... The peace of waking up with the sunrise and wondering at the billions of stars at night -- better than any "luxury resort" could offer for us.”

“The cottage is as described. Quiet retreat in nature. I enjoyed my morning coffee watching the banaquits at the feeder and seeing the flamingos in the distance. The host has thought of all the details and we had everything we needed. We stocked up on groceries on St Thomas and cooked our meals at the cottage every night. Salt Pond beach is really close by and beautiful. Good snorkeling. Highly recommend the Rams head trail for hiking. We visited Maho beach and loved snorkeling there too. We saw...

“It was a very quiet & private area. Also, it was very convenient to Cruz Bay. The apartment was very clean like brand new. Highly recommended!!”

“The space was nice and open with a balcony in the front and the back. Beach chairs and towels and a cooler were provided (though the property does not have beach access). Parking was easy enough … for St. John; such steep hills!”

“Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views on the quieter side of the island. Property has lovely gardens, beautiful to see and very attractive to birds (one of our key interests). We saw 18 “life” species on the island, 14 of which we saw from the expansive deck. Hosts were very personable, with good recommendations on places to bird, eat and snorkel. It helped that they had snorkel equipment and beach towels for our use. Property was very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay....

“We had a great time visiting the Blue Wrasse. The place was as advertised with a beautiful deck and a great view. The outdoor shower was a nice amenity, along with a well stocked kitchen. The site manager was very responsive and helpful. I got stung by a wasp going down the stairs, so be careful of nests there. Also, water is not potable so will need to bring your own water. All considered, was a great stay!”

“If you love nature and like to be away from it all this is the place! The only sounds we heard were birds. Charming. Comfortable. Far out enough to feel like you are the only people on the island but close enough to Coral Bay Restaurants, Beaches and Grocery stores. No TV. Good WiFi though. Had Friday night Barbecue Ribs to die for from the nearby food truck called Local Delights. Also nearby is The Concordia for drinks overlooking the water. Not crowded. Mary is a wonderful host. “We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The cooler and beach chairs made our trips to the beach perfect. The host Matt responded quickly with any questions we had.”

“Tommy was great to work with. Loved being able to walk to the beach. Great for sunsets. Cottage worked great for us. Note that there is no view from the cottage. It’s tucked away. If you’re looking for a place with a view this is not it. Also note the Peter Bay beach is small (narrow). Great for sitting in chairs. Not great for swimming (too rocky). But this worked for us. Enjoyed our stay.”
