“I was quite disappointed with my stay. The breakfast was terrible — very limited options and not appetizing at all. The room wasn’t comfortable; I could hear the neighbors talking and even snoring through the walls. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, and to make things worse, the noise from the birds outside kept me up most of the night. Overall, not a pleasant experience and I wouldn’t stay here again.
The good thing about the hotel was the location, at the heart of Carlisle. ”

“Lovely old Hotel just around corner from Railway Station. Very central. Busy area and, having stayed on a Friday night, was a lot of people around. Room was very adequate for one. Had bath and shower over bath. Bed very comfy and option of 2 pillows.
I sleep well almost anywhere, so noise from business next dooe did not keep me awake. Earplugs provided if you are a light sleeper.
Staff friendly on arrival and check out. ”
