“Description as a sort of lodge is accurate. More of a traditional building than a modern cookie cutter hotel. My room had lovely dark wood floors and a large covered balcony. Staff were great. Breakfast was excellent. ”

“I like the hotel just it need some upgrades ”

“Words cannot describe how much I appreciate this hotel. This was my third stay and 6th room bookings and they were all exceptional. Clean, quiet, great food, Landry room accessible (quick wash only 15 mins), it was all so so good. The breakfast buffet spread is great and the staff are all very nice. I am bilingual so communication was crystal clear, however I recommend that they get more English speaking or bilingual staff. Also very economical. Thank you Royal. ”

“Not so good. The light was very poor-couldn’t see in the bedroom. Only one small pan to cook with. Mostly the gas wouldn’t light-I had come along with a match. Guy living there was very friendly, but he was always there. Not his fault, it’s his right, but It would have been nice sometimes to be on my own. Very overrated and overpriced.”
