“The talking sticks is one of my favorite places to stay when visiting the Phoenix area. This time we got to spend it on the weekend at the pool. One of my favorite days I’ve had in a while. The dj was great and kept it fun for all of us. The hotel itself is amazing. The rooms are beautiful and the bathtubs are perfect for bubble baths. My favorite interaction was with room service. Both ordering with Pat and the young man who delivered were the sweetest. We love it here!”

“The rooms are not as pictured the whole hotel is under construction, no restaurant on site, everything is down. The water park is only 2 pools and 1 slide that closes at 6 and a lazy river.”

“My favorite hotel. Stayed twice this summer. Fantastic rooms in the tower second time. I love the two pool areas and the property is beautiful. I also love the mid century feel, like going back in time. The location is ofcourse perfect.”

“We really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars because it really was a nice location. Unfortunately, there were a few items that needed attention. Our shower dispenser was completely empty, so we were left have to use the bar of soap by the sinks. The ceiling to floor mirror was filthy. My wife almost started cleaning it and I told her that it was not our responsibility to clean for the hotel. Lastly, the property is poorly lit at night. We returned back to our room around 9pm and parked in the spa...

“Very nice staff. The whole hotel is a bit old and would do well by a renovation. My room was worn down and would do very well by a renovation. My colleagues room however was better than mine. But it was clean and not unfresh in any way. Must have been awesome in the 80s. ”

“Nice facility with a great pool area and several restaurants. The rooms are big, clean and they all have a balcony. Service level is very high and you feel very welcome in this facility. The spa is among the best I ever tried. Surrounding golf courses are really nice.”

“I was put in a room that was a very long walk from the lobby, even though the property was not full, since it’s the dead of summer in Scottsdale. Since I typically travel solo I prefer something more central. The property is lovely and the service was great.”
