“The hotel is good and the staff really cared about us having a good time during our stay. It's a modern hotel meaning you will get a comfort level that's different from most other offerings in Kathmandu. On the other hand you also lose some of the charm those places offer. Great rooftop pool, nice lounge with a view and a good breakfast. Our kids also enjoyed the stay. It's in the heart of the Thamel area with all it's pros and cons. Since it's on a side street you won't be distured by any noice...

“The Bar Peepal Resort exceeded our expectations. The staff was excellent from the moment we arrived until we left. They were friendly, always eager to help, always smiling, and went the extra mile. They immediately told us about activities we might enjoy and booked a Hot Air Balloon excursion, a highlight, and a massage at their lovely spa. The food at the restaurant was amazing - with views of the lake and the lakeside town. We highly recommend this truly wonderful hotel!”

“A very good stay in Kathmandu! The staff is very helpful - and we felt very well treated by them during our visit. E.g. we had been on a morning Mountain flight, where they had given us a breakfast package. They also gave us breakfast when we got back from the flight. The rooms are comfy and the breakfast is fully OK - and with superb coffee. We definitely recommend this hotel!”
