“It was a nice place to stay, but the room smelled old and was a lot smaller than on the photo. The balcony was more of a porch which could have been cleaner, and with a railing so the birds could come and sit. Not much choices for food, but if you are ok with paying 30 dollars for breakfast and 45 dollars for dinner than it’s ok, no stores nearby so take with you what you want. The road up to the hotel is a bit scary in some parts, so just be prepared for that. But it was very close to beautiful...

“Stonehaven Manor was an excellent stay. Unfortunately the weather was rainy and we didn’t get out to the gardens, which looked lovely.”

“The room was set up in a bizarre way with a large number of lights in the internal stair being permanently on throughout the night. I presume this was because of safety as the stair, while only 1 step, was 10m wide. This meant the room was lit up like a Xmas tree. It explains why eye masks were provided but here we are in the rainforest and the room is lit. Very annoying.”

“It is a very quiet position on the Coomera River with animals to walk over to and feed and pet. The kitchen was well stocked. The hosts looked after us very well and made us feel at home.”

Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology.
