“If rustic charm is on your bucket list, the Kittle House is brimming it….older floorboards, wooden beams, and a copper ceiling in the taproom. There are modern amenities alongside older fixtures….that plumbing (3/4”?) provides a powerful shower! We stayed during the holidays, and the inn was decorated beautifully. Continental breakfast included. This hotel services an area in Westchester that has few options for lodgings. Fortunately, this inn is a wonderful option.”

“We booked the property because our family is growing too large for all of the children and grandchildren to spend the holidays together. The “holiday house” as our 4 year old coined it was the perfect place to spend Christmas and Hanukkah. Large yet cozy and very well appointed. All of our communication with proprietors was prompt and helpful, and they had the driveway salted and plowed within hours of the (very picturesque) snowfall the day before Christmas. I would happily book here again. ”

“The property worked well for our family and everything went smoothly. My only complaint is that the highway is quite close and the noise is not what I'd have liked to hear while drifting off to sleep. Obviously there is nothing that can be done about this....just fair warning for those thinking of staying.”

“This place basic but super clean and comfortable. The welcome was warm and I’m actually excited to try the hot breakfast buffet in the morning! I have a feeling it’s going to be pretty great. Easy highway access, plenty of stuff around including a c-store across the street. Taco Boys is a fantastic neighborhood spot up the street definitely worth a try. Loved it!!”

“The room was the best part of the hotel, although this hotel was listed as VIP, which should’ve been eligible for certain perks and upgrades we were offered none. We were told we would have to pay for room upgrade. And also were charged for a 1 hour later check out. So I Don’t think this should be listed as a VIP property. The pool is much smaller than it looks in photos and it is not heated.”

“An amazing stay! I was in one of the third floor rooms in the King Mansion. The view from the outside deck was great!! I followed the recommendations from the front desk and ate onsite. The food and service were excellent. ”

“Stayed for 2 days while visiting Sleepy Hollow. Only a 10 minute drive from the town. Lobby and rooms were very clean. Great breakfast in the morning. ”

"Decent location with close proximity to a decent diner. Rooms were clean albeit worn out. Bathroom in particular was in dire need of renovation. Sound insulation was nonexistent and we were woken up by other guests in the hallway. "

"Some of the staff were very service-oriented. We had an issue with the coffee machine, but they replaced it quickly. The fire alarm also malfunctioned in the morning, but they promptly fixed that too when we requested it. The beds were a bit narrower than we would have preferred, and breakfast is not included. The parking is convenient but costs extra. Stamford is expensive compared to other places, so you get more for your money elsewhere, but it was safe, clean, and overall a good experience."
