“One of the best trips my family has ever taken! The caboose is charming with amazing views and plenty of furry company. The house was clean and the yard/fire pit area was spectacular. The only negative is the water smells a bit funky, but that should not be a deterrent because this trip is so special. Do not miss out, book the caboose!!”

“The house was very clean and in a quite location. We were in the area for the Cooperstown dreams park week and thought this location would be too far away. It is a 55 minute drive but the scenery and beautiful house was worth it. Would stay again if in that area.”

“This hotel was recently renovated and reopened after being closed for many years. There is still quite a bit of work to do and the maintenance staff is only onsite during the day. We had to change rooms, which led to a room being out of service. The owners should consider keeping staff on for extra hours until the tourism season is over.”

“Not much good to say. It was an outdated room with few furnishings, not inline with contemporary hotels. The handicapped shower was not sloped properly in the bathroom and the ENTIRE bathroom flooded after a shower making it unusable post-showering. I mentioned this to the staff, but was told "it will drain eventually". Breakfast was sub-par. Entire site needed an overhaul.”

“Room # 103 Long black hair in the bed I had to hold the showerhead wand in my hand in order to clean my head and body. There was no place to put it so that you could shower under it. The showerhead was tucked into the grab bar on the side wall. Sheets had stains on them Pillows had stains on them I spent the total of about five hours in the room, most of which I couldn’t sleep because of the thought of how dirty it might be. “The room really smelled musty. Carpet was stained. Everything needs a serious updating. The wifi went out during a thunderstorm and was never restored. This motel looks like its about to go out of business.”

“Paul and his staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful! Lovely old stately home converted to BnB, with delightful breakfast next day. The suites are large and very comfortable and just dripping with classic furnishings appropriate to a late 19th century stately home.”
