“If rustic charm is on your bucket list, the Kittle House is brimming it….older floorboards, wooden beams, and a copper ceiling in the taproom. There are modern amenities alongside older fixtures….that plumbing (3/4”?) provides a powerful shower! We stayed during the holidays, and the inn was decorated beautifully. Continental breakfast included. This hotel services an area in Westchester that has few options for lodgings. Fortunately, this inn is a wonderful option.”

“We booked the property because our family is growing too large for all of the children and grandchildren to spend the holidays together. The “holiday house” as our 4 year old coined it was the perfect place to spend Christmas and Hanukkah. Large yet cozy and very well appointed. All of our communication with proprietors was prompt and helpful, and they had the driveway salted and plowed within hours of the (very picturesque) snowfall the day before Christmas. I would happily book here again. ”

“This is our second stay at Maria's property. We love the location to the quaint town of Croton-on-Hudson, other towns in the vicinity and NYC. The apartment is nicely appointed and had everything we needed. It was a nice touch to have coffee supplies available since we had a late arrival and could not grocery shop until the next day. Maria is an excellent host who makes sure all is going well with your stay. Thank you Maria. We will be back. ”

“The property was exactly as described in VRBO; nothing fancy but just fine. The add-on for "insurance" made the unit unnecessarily expensive (in my case anyway). You also might consider adding pasteurized 1/2 & 1/2 that doesn't require refrigeration & dark roast for coffee drinkers to the Keurig cabinet. Many thanks for your thoughtfulness and help. “The property worked well for our family and everything went smoothly. My only complaint is that the highway is quite close and the noise is not what I'd have liked to hear while drifting off to sleep. Obviously there is nothing that can be done about this....just fair warning for those thinking of staying.”

“This place basic but super clean and comfortable. The welcome was warm and I’m actually excited to try the hot breakfast buffet in the morning! I have a feeling it’s going to be pretty great. Easy highway access, plenty of stuff around including a c-store across the street. Taco Boys is a fantastic neighborhood spot up the street definitely worth a try. Loved it!!”

"Decent location with close proximity to a decent diner. Rooms were clean albeit worn out. Bathroom in particular was in dire need of renovation. Sound insulation was nonexistent and we were woken up by other guests in the hallway. "

"Some of the staff were very service-oriented. We had an issue with the coffee machine, but they replaced it quickly. The fire alarm also malfunctioned in the morning, but they promptly fixed that too when we requested it. The beds were a bit narrower than we would have preferred, and breakfast is not included. The parking is convenient but costs extra. Stamford is expensive compared to other places, so you get more for your money elsewhere, but it was safe, clean, and overall a good experience."
