“First the positives: this place was squeaky clean, it was priced well, and it had plenty of beds.Unfortunately, the negatives were strong. I’ve never left a negative review before, but it is hard not to feel like this place was misrepresented. It is not at home on a river. It is a rental double wide located inside a larger campground that was essentially empty while we were there in February it is not a private location at all it was directly across from the camp store and next to a busy road....

“Cute property, loved how close to town and the creek it was. Close to restaurants and fishing. Was nice to sit out on the deck at night and for morning coffee.”

“More then enough room for 11 people. The large back yard was great. Along with the back play room was a hit with the kids. Would have been nice to have a grill on site to use.”

“We are so grateful to have landed at this comfy home in the charming town of Waynesville! This home was so perfect for quiet, restful sleep and for us to relax with our soldier, prepare home cooked meals, and enjoy the excellent AC during the hot afternoon heat! The town and local people are wonderful, so many local treasures. Go see Jami and Jessica at 66 Clay studio! Walk to the park and see the beautiful river and abundant wildlife. We fell in love with Waynesville, MO.”

“No major complaints. Newer home and clean. The wireless keypad wasn’t working and we couldn’t get in the house. I called the host and she was kind and found a solution promptly. Nice open space but found the furniture was limited comparatively. Doors creaked loudly and very minimal furniture. No dresser or Closet in the master bedroom. But overall it accommodated our family of 6 to enjoy my son’s army graduation at fort leonardwood. 15-20 minutes from base”

“This property is amazing! It is set in the hills of the Ozarks not far from the lake and shopping, but very private on 3 acres bordered by woods, creek and hay field. We had too terriers with us and they roamed until their hearts were content and had a real time trying to catch a groundhog. It was a great adventure for them and totally wore them out.The check-in was flawless, as Cindy had the lights on and house ready for us. She was thoughtful to leave a goody bag for us with delicious...

“We absolutely loved our weekend getaway at this home! It was clean and comfortable. We had one small little issue with the hot water but the host was quick to help us get it resolved right away. The only thing that was not so wonderful was the skinny one lane road that the house is on. Thankfully there are only a few homes on this stretch of road and we only met another car one time during our stay. Otherwise, everything was just as wonderful as we expected and more.”

“We loved our stay at this lakefront home! We were two families with teenage and grown kids. It was the perfect setting for us. We enjoyed sitting out on the large deck, used the hot tub often and loved playing ping pong, pool and other games downstairs at night. We rented a boat and jet ski and enjoyed having the dock so we could come back to eat and take breaks whenever we wanted. We even grilled out a couple nights. It was a beautiful long weekend!”
