“Parking was spacious. Large bedroom and huge bed. Breakfast selection brought to the room in the morning was reasonable. Low sugar option would be nice and a small table to eat at rather than one eating on the bed as there was only one chair. Be aware of tiny steps in the corridor, my husband didn't see one when checking in and carrying luggage and broke his thumb. There can be some noise from the bar below. Also, on a main road so a large amount of fast moving, noisy traffic. Double glazing...

“Great location, good size all round, good shower, well equipped kitchen (inc. washing machine & detergent), comfortable, quiet, parking great, good value for money.”

“Food was excellent and was in a very scenic part of North yorkshire”

“I found the Buck Inn to be adequate and comfortable for my overnight stay. The pub is old and in need of renovation, the staff were outstanding and friendly. The bed was comfortable and all linen clean. The all English breakfast was very good, well done.”

“jättefint litet hotell i Yorkshire. Fantastiskt rum med utsikt över dalen. Sov med fönstret öppet. Endast lite bräkande från några avlägsna får. Jättegod mat. Trevlig personl.”

“The lodge was spotlessly clean, cosy, and well equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to unwind and escape from everyday life.We especially loved the comfortable furnishings, the attention to detail throughout the lodge, which made it feel like a real home from home. The location was ideal for exploring the local villages, countryside walks, and all that the area has to offer.”

“The location is a perfect ten, but the staff was far from good. First of all, it took us 1.5 hours to check in, and we didn’t sense any effort to speed up the process. There was a complete lack of willingness from the staff to make our experience enjoyable. Our room was also dirty, which unfortunately aligned with the poor check-in experience. The Tan Hill has the potential to be amazing. It has everything going for it—except the staff, who failed to make our stay pleasant.”

“Really comfortable and big enough that my whole family could sleep comfortably.”
