“This craftsman home is gorgeous! Clearly someone took a lot of time and love to restore it to what it is today. My husband, brother, and sister-in-law all commented that we wanted to live in that home and wished we could move it to our respective cities. “Decided to do a quick get-away for our Anniversary within 2 hours of Dallas. We had never been to Waco, always passed through. We had settled on Poppy & Rye due to the unbelievable photos the host had posted on vrbo. We were not disappointed- at all. Host thought of everything. It was so welcoming and we loved the blueberry scones and amazing smelling candle that was lit for our arrival and the best part, we didnt need to bring anything but our clothes. “This place is just wonderful. It’s so calming on the front porch, rocking in the chairs, admiring the roses and the lake. Great keurig with k cups and a bottle of wine! The homestead is just up the road and offers a ton. The trail is a nice clean path over to a gear sunset. Loved the horse back riding and Lem was super responsive with my questions. Highly recommend ”
