âA truly amazing experience. The staff are so welcoming and efficient. The pool and facilities are fantastic. Breakfast and dining are delicious.

âI didn't know what to expect from this stay so all impressions where quite free from pre set expectations. The hotel is just a 8-10 min walk from the Cenang beach, which is lovely. The setting is just by the main road though, but it did'nt affect us but it's not like it's in on the beach or in a green lush area. The hotel is quite small, has very friendly and helpful staff. âYou essentially get what you pay for, which for us was only a last minute booking for one night. Clean room, okay bed, okay but very small bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Refill water for free. Nothing wrong with this place.â
âClean room, comfort place, clean and big enough swimming pool, nice customer service to provide enough instructions to you. Not good for walking or public transport but great for Grab and Driving.â
âTrevligt och personligt men enkelt hotell, mycket frĂ€scht och personalen var hjĂ€lpsam. Hotellet ligger ett stenkast frĂ„n huvudgatan dĂ€r det finns ett bra utbud av restauranger och minimarkets. För att komma till den badvĂ€nligaste delen av stranden dĂ€r det Ă€ven fanns palmer för skugga fick man gĂ„ ca fem minuter, antingen lĂ€ngs med stranden eller pĂ„ huvudgatan. PĂ„ stranden direkt nedanför fanns dock solstolar med parasoll att hyra. Strandhanddukar fanns att lĂ„na gratis pĂ„ hotellet. â
âThis is a very friendly place to stay. The room was clean with a nice veranda towards the pool. The pool was refreshing.
They had a Japanese handicraft shop because one of the owners was Japanese. All the staff were very friendly. Breakfast is not served but it was a short walk to find a breakfast restaurant.
We liked the area where the villa is situated, itâs more calm even if there are many restaurants around and close to the beach.
Itâs a relaxing place to stay and it is easy to feel at...
âWe stayed at Ambong pool villa for 9 nights, we had the best experience ever. The villas were amazing, we tried four different villas and each one had its own unique touch.
The service and the staff was extraordinary, they went above and beyond our expectations. From the personal engagement of every member from the Ambong team to the overall willingness to solve every question and request that you might have.
We couldn't be more satisfied!! We will most definetly return!â

âWe stayed for one night for a birthday celebration and had the best stay of our life. The room was amazing, spacious and nicely organised. Bathroom was really nice with a separate room for shower and bath tub. We spent a lot of time on the balcony and the view of the sunset was mesmerising. âWir haben den Aufenthalt im S'kar Pinang sehr genossen. Schon allein die Bauweise und die viele ausgestellten Kunstwerkesind sehenswert. Wir hatten ein wunderschönes, groĂes Zimmer mit vielen Ablagemöglichkeiten und sogar ein Extraraum mit riesigem Kleiderschrank - das haben wir bei unseren Reisen noch nicht sehr oft erlebt. Unser Zimmer lag genau vor dem Pool. Hier konnte man gut entspannen, denn um einen herum war nur Natur. Die kleine Anlage hat lediglich 8 Zimmer und so war nie viel Trubel....

" We have stayed in hundreds of hotels and resorts all over the world.
We were here as a couple for 9 nights.
Picked the resort for the beautiful setting. We had high expectations due to the private island. We thought this was the place for tranquility and peace and quiet.
We were totally wrong.
This resort is in the end not suitable for families with children, nor for couples. Not for elderly,
There are always loud music or families with children around.
The gardeners are also constantly cutting grass, blowing leaves and sand.
Itâs a constant high annoying sound level all over.
On top of this there is an airport not far away. All the planes are lifting and landing over Rebak Island.
Everynight at 7 pm the music from a live band starts.
The music can be heard right into the bedroom.
The adult pool is located behind the children's pool meaning that the adults have to give up the view from the infinity pool.
Sun loungers and bar have been placed so they are blocking the sea view.
Pool towels are not clean. Stains.
The staff generally did not maintain as high service level as we are used to in Malaysia.
Not as nice and caring treatment as in other hotels.
Apart from a breakfast buffet that felt stingy, using the coffee machine cost 11 MYR
The trays werenât refilled properly.
Restaurant poor and costly. No value.
We are very disappointed with our stay.
