  • Look No Further! Barefoot Bliss an amazing beach house escape in West Bay Village, Roatán. Just 30 seconds from the white sands and turquoise waters, this family-friendly retreat is ideal for relaxing, snorkelling, and soaking up island vibes. Barefoot Bliss (formerly Flip Flops) offers guests outdoor living space, as well as flexibility inside for sleeping arrangements. Top it off with a short stroll to the beach, and you have the perfect beach home. Newly rebuilt 2026! 3-bed 3-bath.

    Barefoot Bliss is managed by Island House Vacation Rentals. The office is a 3-minute walk away, and guests will be provided with our local phone numbers and will be available via phone, text, as well as messaging. We greet all of our guests at the office so they know how to find us. Prior to your stay, we require you to complete a pre-arrival form and agree to our rental terms and conditions. Secure online payments for direct bookings are processed through a 3rd party payment processor, ChargeAutomation.

    Please note that construction of a residential home is currently underway in West Bay Village on a neighboring lot. Work is expected to continue through the end of 2026. While some noise may be heard during daytime hours, we’ve taken steps to ensure your comfort and a relaxing stay. If you have questions or concerns before booking, feel free to contact us.

    Barefoot Bliss is located in West Bay Village directly on Roatan’s West Bay Beach. It is an oasis of 8 privately owned homes directly on West Bay Beach on Roatan, Honduras. Each charming house was built in the traditional island style, with wood construction and spacious decks. All the houses are individually owned and therefore unique in their own charm and character. You will find each home fully furnished to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

    Guests have access to unlimited wifi and there is cable TV in the living room. There are beach loungers on the beach for guest use. Guests do not have access to the washer and dryer. Laundry service available upon request.

    100 paces from the water, Barefoot Bliss is located in West Bay Village a collection of privately owned homes on West Bay Beach. Barefoot Bliss has new owners and is newly re-built. Just a moments stroll from bars and restaurants. Private and convenient, this location is unbeatable, close to the amenities of West Bay Beach yet secluded and private surrounded by lush tropical gardens.

    Just 200 meters swim off the beach you will encounter amazing snorkelling & diving, exploring our reefs could not be easier!

    Bedroom 1 with king bed & en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 with two twin beds has an en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 3 on the upper floor has a queen bed and en-suite bathroom. Extra guests can be accommodated on a Tempurpedic queen sofa sleeper. There is a half bath in the entry.

    Propane generator for back up power.

    We will arrange your airport transfer to West Bay if you wish, we do so for the majority of our guests.
    Everything on West Bay Beach is within walking distance, so there is very little need for transport. Should guests want to leave West Bay, water taxis are available to West End and regular taxis are easily obtained.

    PLEASE NOTE: All Guests travelling to Honduras will need to have a passport valid for at least 6 months past the date of travel. UK citizens need to apply for a travel Visa to enter Honduras. Please ask for details.

Family Vacation

Patricia and myself had a very nice stay at the "Barefoot Bliss". Home was clean, cool and comfortable. We slept well in the evenings. Mom liked sitting on the screened porch in the mornings listening to the birds and wind blowing through the trees. We would walk up to the front house where the rest of our family was staying for most of the day. Mom states she like it was quite back where we were, under all the beautiful trees. We overall had such a wonderful stay and were comfortable with what was expected for us. Thank you very much for a great memory!!
