Harbor View Cottage is the newly renovated 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage at Upachaya and includes a view from the deck of Upachaya's gardens with a glimpse of Man O' War harbor. Harbor View Cottage offers a Queen bed in the master bedroom, a full kitchen with stove, oven, microwave and full size refrigerator as well as a queen size pullout sofa in the living room.

Harbor View Cottage can comfortably accommodate 4 guests.

Located outside of the major tourist areas and away from heavy traffic, you are guaranteed to experience peace and serenity with our unique accommodations. In addition to the tranquil setting and relaxed atmosphere we also offer guided water, scuba and snorkeling excursions as an additional amenity.

Surrounded by tropical gardens of orchids, amaryllis, jasmine, and bougainvillea, our freshwater pool is a great place to cool off. Poolside, experience both sun or shade from our thatched roof palapa. At night the pool area is well lit so you can enjoy a swim into the evening, or simply gaze at the stars.

The boardwalk spans throughout the property and meets the water at our two story dock in the calm Man O’War Harbor. If you join us for a water adventure, you will depart from this beautiful location.

At night, the dock is the perfect place for star gazing. Undisturbed by excess ambient light, you will be in awe by the millions of twinkling stars. Watch close enough and you may catch a shooting star.

Guests can access Upachaya using their own rental car or we can arrange round trip transportation from the airport to Upachaya. Registered guests will have access to all common areas including the grounds, dock, pool and covered palapa for any meal package added to your reservation. Harbor View Cottage is for the private use of the guest booking this listing.

Water sport activities and excursions as well as meals are not included with your reservation but are available for an additional fee.

The island of Roatan offers more than most can handle on a single trip. Upachaya can offer roundtrip transportation from the airport or cruise ship terminal and provides valet diving out of our Boutique Dive shop as well as kayak and snorkel tours. Fly fishing can be done on the flats that are conveniently located by a short three minute boat ride where the coveted bonefish can be caught.

At Upachaya Dive Center you can experience epic diving just a short boat ride away from our dock. Our dive sites are not as busy as others which allows you a less crowded dive. Upachaya Snorkel Excursions lets you enter the world of the vibrant Mesoamerican Reef. This snorkel tour is the perfect day trip to explore the beautiful under water terrain and witness spectacular marine life first hand away from the crowds. Roatan is said to be one of the best snorkeling locations in the whole world! Don’t miss out on all the beauty there is to be seen.

Upachaya is an "off the beaten path" establishment. While internet is excellent on-site, power outages do occur on the island and there is not a backup generator.
