“The cottage is compact, but every inch of space is used to the maximum to make it a very comfortable, cosy place to base yourself. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to use. The living area is tiny, but with a comfy sofa and armchair is fine to hang out in. The stairs are very steep, especially to the attic bedroom (come down in reverse and use the rope provided!) “Absolutely perfect location (lots of steps but you don’t go to RHB expecting anything else) and such a cute cottage. Everything you need provided and the room with the ship bed is just amazing if you’ve got kids - such a wow factor. Beth is so easy to contact and a great host - super clear instructions too! "The reception employees were not service minded during check in and out. I arrived at 11 am and asked about the possibility of early check in (anytime before 15:00 even paid for). The receptionist asked for my name and once I gave it, the reply was No, it's fully booked even though: - he didn't even check. - a couple that he helped before me got to check in. - when I came back in the evening and asked for a floor fan, the evening receptionist said he'd look for any available in the "unoccupied rooms". Concluding that morning receptionist lied and the hotel wasn't actually fully booked. "
