“The location of the property is good if you don't mind walking. The parking permit given to allow parking in certain zones is very good. Although if busy can be difficult to find a space but that is nothing the owners can control. The room was clean. We had the small double room. It is very compact. The bed seems very small for a double and is pushed against a wall, not ideal when 2 people are sleeping in it. The shower was small too. You can hear the conversations in the next room. Would i...

“We decide to stay at Molton, not York due to the relatively higher price of the York hotel and our trip plan. It proves to be a good choice. The property located in a small and quiet town with about 10-15 minutes walk to the railway station. It may look normal from outside but when you step in, you would be impressed by the warm and cozy atmosphere. The first floor is the restaurant and a bar, with so many selections. The room was super clean and you can tell everything was so well maintained. ...

“Staff were lovely and incredibly attentive- nothing too much trouble. Amazing breakfast selection- all fresh and cooked to order. Big room - well maintained- lovely view to garden - we were in Camilla. 10 mins into town but situated in countryside near parks, historic houses and museums. Easy reach for James Cook Hospital. Lovely country house hotel - obviously newly created in beautiful Edwardian house. We will be back”

“Very good B&B in Pickering. Clean rooms, quiet in night. I arrived late in the night and keys were easy to collect. Breakfast was excellent and staff really nice. No problems to arrange early breakfast on my departure day. The temperature in room was perfect for sleeping even in July. Wifi working as you expect. Next time in Pickering i will stay here. Recommended!”

“Me and my partner Ross stayed at The Cornmill last saturday and we both had a pleasent experience, Karen is very welcoming & accomodating and all round a lovely person. The room we stayed in was immaculate aswell and to top it all off, breakfast was absolutely superb! “- The shale beach across the road was the most amazing I have ever seen. - The menu is misleading. My husband wanted NO ALCOHOL beer because he is allergic to alcohol. The NO ALCOHOL beer on the menu said 0.0% alcohol. What arrived was what the waitress said was NO ALCOHOL but it actually was 0.5% alcohol. We sent it back, and I did tell the waitress the menu was incorrect and that she should mention it to management, but she did not seem interested in doing anything about it.”

“The room was clean and bright, the pull out sofa bed was a bit short for an adult and we weee above the kitchen which was noisy at closing but done by 10pm. Great staff, pretty location.”
