“Beautiful home! House layout is really perfect. Well equipped kitchen- wonderful amenities. Hot tub was the icing on the cake. Only drawback for us were the beds- we prefer a firmer mattress than what was available but still fine. Communication with Maggie could not have been better- very responsive and quick to resolve issues.”

“Great cabin and property! We loved staying at the cabin, it was very peaceful and quiet. We absolutely loved the well groomed trails and our beagle loved them even more! We seen a great abundance of wildlife while sitting outside and walking the trails. If you're looking for a spotless, fancy and luxurious cabin or you're a picky person you might want to look elsewhere. However if you're someone like myself that don't seek absolute perfection and love a secluded cabin getaway from the everyday...

“We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and quiet A-frame cabin. The river was clear and clean, perfect for tubing or kayaking, and made for such a relaxing experience. We saw plenty of birds and deer during our stay giving it the up-north feel. The check-in process was very easy, and the owner was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The cabin was listed for sleeping 10, but might feel a little tight for that many - our group of 6 was very comfortable. There's a nice grill and fire...

“Our stay was great! The cottage was clean and comfortable. The common areas had games. We sat in lounge chairs at the lake watching the sunset. Great alternative for visiting kids at Ferris State. They really appreciated the home cooked meal that we could provide since we were not in a hotel. ”

“I highly recommend staying here! The cabins were very clean and the furniture was very comfy! We had a great view of the lake from cabin 4 as well. The lake front is right across the road with a multi level deck, two docks, and tons of seating. We didn’t enjoy all the amenities the area has to offer this time but I plan to stay here again to enjoy everything! 10/10 stay”

“The moment we pulled up to the drive way I knew it was going to be an amazing stay. From the cottage feel to the abundance of fun things to do (kayaking, fishing, grilling, outdoor / indoor games, and so much more!) there was no shortage of family memories to build. So much so this place would be good for a multitude of stays: from romantic getaways, family (infant and kid friendly) excursions, and even just a fun adventure with friends, the riverside retreat stay was a 10/5 in my book. “Lovely cabin- felt like we were up in the mountains. Plenty of private space and wooded area for the dog to run around. The host was great at communicating and answering any questions. The only thing to be aware of is the long two-track driveway that can be a little tricky in wet or snowy conditions. I would highly recommend and stay again! ”
