“The apartment was cold in February, heating system did not work properly. The rooms were not very clean. The building is right by the city train tracks, so a bit noisy. The manager was kind of nice with text messages and reasonable responses though.”

On check-in, I was given the wrong code for the entrance, but owner called me after a few minutes and sent me correct info. There were a lot of ants in the studio. The drain in the tub was also slow, making water back up during my shower.”

“We were so pleased with the comfortable and stylish accommodations! The kitchen was well appointed; outfitted with newer small electrics, dishes, and such. The house was exceptionally clean and the furnishings comfortable. This location is close to the lake and downtown is an easy train ride. Host communication, check in, and checkout were all much simpler than other stays. We will be back!”

“3 hours before we were supposed to check-in they canceled. They had my cell phone and didn't contact me. I had messaged them to get check in information and was only told at that time the place was now unavailable. For something as important as cancelling last minute they should have called, messaged and emailed. They had no problem requiring me via my cell phone to give them not only give them the names and ages of every guest staying but a picture of my passport and CC. Was this just a scam to...
