Great little getaway!

The location is truly remote which was amazing considering we really wanted peace and quiet! The only noise was from the abundance of birds and was more than welcome:) Highly recommend if you are looking to get away from it all!

Exactly as advertised!

Fantastic stay at lovely off-grid cabin. A great place to unplug and recharge, and if you're lucky, to watch lovely aurora show at night. Great communication from hosts. We definitely recommend.

Weekend Getaway!

Great cabin, great place

Absolutely loved our stay in this cabin. We are looking for a lakeside cabin and almost everything was fully booked. Contacted the property that there'll be 4 of us and they told us that it'll be no problem as long as the others will be fine with the futon. It did exceeded our expectation, the place is really nice, the view was amazing, we love that it is out in nature, we had the olace and the view only for ourselves and didnt have to worry about any other campers or people around. The lake is amazing, we saw a bear along the way but it's like 2km away from the site and a deer near the campsite and we realized how deep in nature we are and we absolutely love it. Lots of different species of birds around as well. The firepit is great with generous amount of firewood, the balcony is spacious and neat and its where we spend most of our time cooking and grilling, playing some nice music, puts a hammock on it and we had some very nice meals and appreciated all of it, comes with all the necessary utensils so big plus for us. The bathroom is a porta potty so that's something to take a note of. The shower has a hot and cold so thats a plus, but it does gets hot pretty quick when you turned on the heat and cant really adjust it but otherwise its a good thing to have. Did some kayak and the weather was really nice. Just had a lot of good things to say to this place and if I will just nitpick for the cons, its just the porta potty and some tall grasses where we think is better when cut

Piece of Paradise

We booked the romantic cabin for the thanksgiving weekend! Beautiful property, private and very peaceful. We were fortunate to have great weather and enjoyed our meals on the deck. This property is one of a kind experience. Off grid made luxurious, with everything you need to make you stay extremely easy. The owner is amazing with communicating, responding immediately with any and all requests. The cabin and outhouse are 100% clean and sanitized. The kitchenette is wonderfully stocked with many amenities to make preparing your meals as simple or elaborate as you choose. The location of the property is perfect in every way , nature and peacefulness awaits you. If you are new to off grid like myself, don’t hesitate to book this cabin, an amazing trip awaits you. If there were a 10 star rating this would be one of them!!

Relaxing country weekend

Beautiful off grid place. They really thought of everything to make this place as comfortable as possible. They send you detailed instructions and pictures to find the road and it’s a little odd in the GPS. Would definitely recommend for people looking to have a quiet weekend for a re-set.

Amazing retreat

We had an amazing stay here, we were able to bring our dog who doesn’t get much freedom living the city life and he loved getting to run around as much as possible without being tied up. The property was nice and clean with lots of firewood and gasoline for the generator. Everything about the property was very well explained to us before showing up! Our only recommendations were some curtains for the windows with it being bright so early on the morning, and a screen on the door to prevent less bugs inside. Aside from that it was perfect!

Cute, quiet cabin.

Enjoyed our stay for a weekend at the cabin. Inside is clean, nice and comfortable. Perfect little getaway from the city. Location was easy to find with detailed instructions and photos from the owner. Lots of wood for fires and covered deck if it's too hot or a rainy day. Unfortunately, the small lake wasn't clean enoigh to be usable for pets due to algae but, that's obviously no fault of the owners and it provides a lovely view and scenery in any case. It was a lovely quiet stay and we'd be happy to return again.

Great stay for two!

A nice getaway to unplug for a few nights! It rained and was unexpectedly very cold almost the entire time in early July, owners were great at communicating and ensuring we would be warm. Great spot for bird watching too! Red necked grebes, Cedar waxwings, yellow warblers seen often!
