“The cabin is absolutely gorgeous. We loved the canoe, dock, fishing, and hot tub. My only complaint was the cleanliness. We asked for early check in, and were told we would receive a text once the cleaners were done cleaning, never did, and checked in at the normal time of 4:00. I anticipated this was because the cabin was being cleaned very well. There were wet towels in the washer, some blankets in the dryer. The showers and toilets needed to be cleaned. The countertop still had crumbs on it...

“Perfect cabin for a weekend getaway. The community is unique in that it is gated, but 1200 acres. We only used the upstairs bedrooms, but the beds were comfortable. Loved the screened in porch!! The only addition that is needed is a fly swatter. Some very large, but slow moving flies appeared on our last night and we had to get creative with how we disposed of them. Very clean cabin! ”

“THE CABIN WAS CLEAN AND WELL STOCKED, PERFECTLY AS DESCRIBED. LOVED THE HOT TUB! LOCATION WAS GREAT FOR WHAT WE INTENDED THE WEEKEND TO BE, RELAXING BUT CLOSE ENOUGH TO THE ENTERTAINMENT AS NEEDED.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the long weekend! We had 3 generations together celebrating birthdays. The house is spacious yet log cabin cozy in the woods-remote but not too remote. The piano was an added bonus!! We enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit and morning coffee /meals on the deck. Lots of games! Cacapon State Park is a hop, skip and jump away and we hiked each day exploring nature and beautiful views. Cacapon also has a nice gift shop and a cute beach, we never made it to the beach...

“Spent Easter weekend with my family at the cabin. Very comfortable cabin in a great location. Peaceful nights relaxing on the porch or in the hot tub. Local area offers great opportunities for hiking. Excellent communication with the owners during our stay. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“The deck and fire pit was pretty much where we stayed most of the time. Loved the views and having morning coffee outside! Cacapon State park was so very close and beautiful! My friend went fishing there, as well! Loved having access to a grill and to the hot tub. So many birds to enjoy listening to, as well!”

“This is a family friendly place with ample space for the 6 of us to have our own space. AC was wonderful (portable one in the off space but central in the rest). Hot tub got a lot of use, you can see the neighbors but very quite open space which was also great for excitable kids. Wonderful fire pit, stocked kitchen and grill. We plan to go again next year. And the area is also beautiful. Near the state park, we went tubing one day and swimming/fishing in the lake the next. Hosts were quick to...
