"Since renovating, this hotel has really stepped it up. The staff folks are always excellent and helpful. The breakfast is always delicious. The only drawbacks were the television remote which half worked and no control re features, and the toilet stool sat too low. Ither than that, top rated!"

"This cabin was exactly what I was wanting. It's very cute and cozy. The beds are very comfy and clean. The outside was also very clean and the pier was very cute. We got to meet the neighborhood fat cat and he is very friendly. Fire pit was great. The only thing it was lacking was clear instructions on what the check out instructions were but we did clean up our mess and left it clean. The drive into Edenton was about 20 min. And wasn't a bad drive but if you are wanting to drive back and forth keep that in mind. Over all 5 star stay!!"

"Great historic property near downtown Edenton. Greeted by inn keeper and shown to our nicely appointed second floor room.Walked to our supper a couple blocks away close to the riverfront. Recommend for couples or single travelers. Excellent breakfast included."
