“The location is excellent and the view from this property is stunning! Literally walk out your front door and down the steps to the main road lining Varenna. Very walkable! We knew the age of the house based on pictures and description, which is why it was charming and felt “old Italy,” but age did show with some things, like the upstairs bathroom. “This apartment is located in a residential area, however if you have a car, there is no problem going to Bergamo sightseeing or shopping malls. It is also within a 30 minute drive from the airport. The owner was very kind and flexible with check-in times. The room is clean and has everything. Highly recommended if you are staying with your family.”

“Lovely and clean property! Good bedroom and bathroom facilities with a nice view from the bedroom balcony. Only a 28 minute walk from the centre or 5 minutes on the metro. Some nice bars and restaurants around the apartment. Only negative is that it is not made clear that you will be sharing the house with the owner and their dog. However this did not affect us and was not disruptive in any way the dog is very cute :) ”

“A wonderful place to stay at! The house itself and the view from it!!! The small square was really nice with 2 bars, ice cream parlour and even a vinoteca. And restaurants within reasonable walkingdistance. Everything worked just fine like the contact with Liana who helped us with the luggage on arrival. So many places to visit in the close area too! We hade a fantastic week in Montevecchia! Linda & Erik”
