âA home away from home. The appartment was properly cleaned except for some minor spots here and there. There where some long scratches on some walls that I guess a previous guest caused. Maybe the owner did'nt have the time to remedy this before our stay, but the overall impression of the appartment was really good. âVery nice hotel in a quiet area close to the best parts of town....we slept well.
The only negative was that the kids were a bit to heavy for the fold out sofa bed.
Next time I will book with 2 real beds.
We fly to Edinburgh from Sweden now and then to visit relatives in northern England and love Edinburgh and can recommend a stay on this hotel.â

âEtt otroligt hotell som vi kommer bo pĂ„ igen. Det kĂ€ndes modernt och var vĂ€ldigt frĂ€scht. Redan i reception doftade det gott som om man kom in pĂ„ ett spa och personalen var jĂ€ttetrevliga och hjĂ€lpsamma. Och lĂ€get pĂ„ hotellet var perfekt, Ă„ker man till Edinburgh och vill bo centralt och ha nĂ€ra till allt sĂ„ var detta bra dĂ„ det lĂ„g precis nedanför slottet och i nĂ€rheten av Victoria street.

The apartment was immaculate, the furnishings were lovely, the bed was comfortable, there was appropriate lighting in each area, laundry available (I assume on each floor), sensory lighting in the hallways, excellent communication from the off-site staff. "Hotellet ligger i ett bra omrĂ„de med gĂ„ngavstĂ„nd till slottet, vilket Ă€r ett stort plus. Rummen var rymliga och det kĂ€ndes rent och frĂ€scht överlag. Dock bör det nĂ€mnas att heltĂ€ckningsmattan hade stora flĂ€ckar, vilket drog ner helhetsintrycket â ett tips Ă€r att ta med ett par inomhustofflor.
Servicen lĂ€mnade dessvĂ€rre en del att önska. Vid ett tillfĂ€lle stod fyra personer i receptionen och pratade med varandra utan att uppmĂ€rksamma gĂ€sterna, och attityden kĂ€ndes ganska oengagerad. Ett undantag var en medelĂ„lders man i personalen som var mycket trevlig och tillmötesgĂ„ende. Det borde vara en sjĂ€lvklarhet att bli hĂ€lsad pĂ„ nĂ€r man kommer in â nĂ„got som tyvĂ€rr inte alltid skedde hĂ€r."
