“A characterful converted cow shed with roof beams, but decorated in a modern way with all you need, and a free jug of milk.The bed was comfortable, and there was a wet room shower.I could not see any way to open a window, which I would have liked, and the Wifi only worked in half the room, which I mentioned to the owner.We were welcomed and again had goodbye said to us as we left, which was friendly.We prefer a separate bed room as one of us gets up very early, but it was OK for one night.A...

“Such a nice place to stay. Peaceful with lovely views. A short drive to pubs & shops. We were made to feel very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area followed by some cozy nights. The Christmas decorations were a lovely touch. We'll be back!”

“We booked here for a weekend to attend a friend's wedding and had a wonderful stay. Finch Cottage is great - there is so much thoughtful attention to detail throughout the property. It has a well-stocked kitchen and Jilly had left delicious homemade marmalade and muesli which we were very grateful for, not to mention the bottles of wine and a local ale! The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and everything is really well considered. It has a lovely fireplace with more than ample wood...

“It’s looks lovely in the pictures but a few things to note, the house looks “tired”, lightbulbs out, fridge smelt, floors and counter tops sticky,,tiles not secure on backsplash in kitchen.You could either have a “cold power shower” or a warm shower. Towels were stiff, no ironing board (sent email which took over a day to reply and told last guest had broken it, would have to wait a few more days to get one) only one useable in back yard as other one broken, outside cloth dryer broken, washing...

“Really enjoyed our stay here. The host communicated well throughout. The barn is lovely and spacious with lots of space. The hosts had left little touches such as shower gel and shampoo etc which was lovely. My daughter loved being near the horses and the ladies in the stables next door were really friendly. Couple of niggles - having to walk around the property for the hot tub and cobwebs in windows, lamps and lampshades in bedrooms.”
