“Upon opening the door, we were greeted by a warm, sunny living room with breath taking views of the mountains. The recliners and the propane fireplace offered a cozy space to read, visit, or just enjoy the view. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of fluffy white towels. The kitchen was well appointed right down to the martini shaker. The attention to every detail was so appreciated and made for a memorable stay. Thank you for sharing your special place.”

“Incredible stay at black bear lodge. Perfectly nestled in the trees, the lodge had everything you could need and was very clean. The bedrooms were well appointed and the living space with the log fires in the lounge and kitchen were dreamy. We had a wonderful stay and communication was excellent the entire time. “We really enjoyed our long weekend at the cabin. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and utensils, and the gas fireplace was cozy. Dock was a gorgeous spot for a late affernoon drink! Only consideration is bedrooms are tight and wouldn’t be good for those with mobility issues. Only suggestion to the hosts would be extra hand/dish soap (we used both sparingly since they weee nearly out and didn’t find others in the cupboards). Otherwise appreciated the hosts responsiveness. Recommend!”
