“Had the best night sleep I've ever had in a B&B here. The room was immaculate, modern, and we were provided with everything we could possibly need in terms of toiletries and drinks. The breakfast included was very generous and exceptionally well cooked with quality ingredients. The location is a short walk from the main high street where there are plenty of options to eat too. I would definitely stay again!”

“Last minute booking for Easter weekend. Turned out to be a great little hotel with some grounds with a stream and a lake for the dog/ kids to explore. Some gray pubs nearby for dinner (Ye Olde George). The owners are very friendly and showed us the historic cellars. Great for a break, room was smallish but had everything needed.”

“Overall ticks all the boxes . In some need of updating , decor , furniture . Mattress too soft for me , a topper or new one would be ideal. Parking was fine. An altercation with the owner and a guest at 1.30 am on my second night didn’t help my sleep . Whilst my room was next door to the entrance , and in all probability not the fault of the owner , regardless , there are other guests in the accommodation to consider. Overall decent for the price . ”

“Fantastic place totally out of the ordinary. Five-star attention by the staff made us feel welcome from the start. Great romantic room and Full English breakfast served at the table. We had dinner in the cosy restaurant with a menu leaning heavily on seafood, for obvious reasons. After a walk along the seafront we came back for a coffee in the nice pub-part of the restaurant. Our room (404) had total sea view and we could see Portsmouth across the sound. We'll come back next time we're in the...

“Lovely spacious room, comfy bed, very nice host Stacey & staff, nice food/breakfast. Beautiful little village & area, very peaceful & quiet. Plenty of parking. A real community pub with live music & events. Note: there is no housekeeping & minimal towels provided for the week so had to keep asking for items, though this wasn't a big problem. The towel heater in our bathroom never worked so had to use bedroom radiator to dry our towel each day. Unfortunately the toilet in our bathroom was blocked...

“We had an incredible stay here. We got lucky with the weather but the house was more than big enough for our party of 16. It was clean and tidy with great cooking facilities and the pool was lovely in 30 degrees! The owners were amazing with great communication in the run up to and during the stay and very helpful with check in. I would definitely stay here again and would highly reccomend it.”

“We have now seen the future of hotels. The room2 concept is brilliant. A room with a basic self-service kitchen was precisely what we needed when we ended up staying for longer than we had planned. If the loft bed had come with a proper mattress and in full length, it would have been perfect.”

Catered for a variety of ages and perfectly located on site for easy access to the pool and entertainment as well as access to the beach and clifftop walks. The host was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely consider staying here again.”
