âAs I pulled into the car park it dawned on me that I had stayed there before but it had been a Premier Inn back then. I am not sure why it was no longer part of that chain but it hadn't really changed. It was the same as it used to be. It was clean and tidy and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
One word of warning: On their website they say they are in walking distance of the city centre amenities such as the Emporium Theatre (which is why we were there). We used Google maps to...
âClean & comforts, but thereâs no table which even canât have a simple breakfast. Have 2 sofa which are no use for us. Itâs better to have a table & storage drawer.â
âThe buildings are unique, and so is the hospitality. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff are well trained, professional yet friendly. The food choice and quality is outstanding. We would not hesitate to stay again. Thank you Lumley Castle Hotel!!â
âNot great for EV drivers as when you take the car to charge, you cannot return to the hotel to park. And the cleanliness in the bathroom prevented me from bathing my 3 year old.â
âThere were no cocktails to be had At All ! The pillows need changing as they are like bricks and the Showers need a shower mat as it becomes very, very slippery.
This is a shame, because everything else was Great.â
