"Nice hotel in a good location. The reception staff were very helpful with good recommendations of places to eat and things to see, can’t remember the name of the women who did our check in but she was fantastic and made us feel very welcome as soon as we entered.
It was a very nice touch with welcome drink/pinxto at the bar (although not so good service from the man, I believe they should try to upsell so that you stay at the bar for longer but honestly felt like he just expected us to have our free drink and pinxto & leave and did not check if we wanted something else so sadly he was not as service minded as the reception. The bar was also unmanned so we had to go look for someone to serve us. Just small notes on how the service could be improved to match the rest of the hotel quality.
Big plus with complimentary mini bar in the room and also with welcome note & sweet snack. It’s these small touches that make a big difference.
We only stayed one night and had an early flight so did not try the breakfast or the restaurant.
My only comment is that I think the room could have done with some freshening up. We had a junior suite and even though we did not use the sofa bed, it looked a bit tired and like it had been used a lot and generally the room was missing a bit of a wow feeling."
