“This place is very comfortable It’s a studio that the bedroom is open to the kitchen…. But the very comfy couch and TV is around a corner and sleeping while TV is on would be easy. There’s water flowing behind the property that keeps the place cool since there is no a/cThe beers to try in the frig - bonus. Plenty of places for storage. Total privacy. Backyard can be lit up at night to cross bridge to hot tub… which we didn’t useWe rented again for a future stay.”

“We loved the 2 room cabin.The location allowed access to Salida and Cotopaxi along with longer trips to Leadville and Canon city/Royal Gorge.We used the full kitchen daily and enjoyed the intermittent stream in the mornings. We saw a doe and 2 fawns in the yard. Clean and felt like new construction.Warm evenings which require fans to cool off. Crisp mornings we fantastic. Started off with coffee and away for local adventures. We enjoyed the fire ring for marshmallows and brats and hot dogs...

“The stay in this VRBO was great. I fully understand the reason there is no AC in this part of the country, but the first day we were there the temperature exceeded 95 degrees. It is sort of rough. I also understand this house was refurbished, but it would have been nice to include lighting with the refurbished house.Let me say I am not in anyway unhappy with our stay. We had a blast! “Cute house!”

“This is an excellent rental, nice and quiet with great views in all directions - especially for sunrise, sunset, and star-gazing. Lots of space for myself and my two teens. Full and fully stocked kitchen, very easy to cook meals in which saved lots of money vs going out. Nice large tub for soaks - I brought some bubble bath along but it wasn't enough! Missed my bath "pillow" too though. There is a skylight right over the largest bed in the top bedroom, and I wish I had thought to bring a sleep...

“We so enjoyed the river, views, fishing, hammocks and lawn at River Haven that, other than a few planned activities, we spent most of our time there. The deck and hot tub were great. We had nice summer weather and the A/C was good. The window fan was all we needed to cool the guest house. Enjoyed croquet, cornhole and other games provided. Also brought our own hummingbird feeders and drew in so many we hated taking them down. Maybe the owners will leave some for future guests... so easy to make...

“This house is perfectly situated, in that it’s a very short walk to the river and downtown and it has a cute front porch and backyard for hanging outside. The beds were very comfortable and the four of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”
