“It is a very convenient location. Across the street is the Grocery store with gasoline and the pizza/sandwich shop. Later, we did walk 250 yards to the brewery. Small parking area for a large p/u truck. Biggest drawback is that it is only 15 feet from the main road going through Damascus, which tends to be busy and noisy. And no front or back usable porch..”

“We had a nice time staying here for the creeper bike trail. The property was clean (outside could use a bit of TLC), but was good for our family. There was no hot tub which was in the description so we were disappointed by that but all else was fine.”

“Location seemed a bit more remote than it actually was- which wasn’t a bad thing- the property itself is gorgeous, and the land is well maintained! The house was more spacious and accommodating than I and my family expected, and had many more amenities than most rental properties- which was a true blessing. The house was clean, although I agree with previous reviews that the sheets on the beds were very heavily fragranced. The rest of the house was clean, comfortable, and the location really was...

I grew up close by & my parents live around the corner so it made it easy to visit with them. There is easy access to all my favorite places downtown and the lake, aka Hungry mother Park. I cannot wait to come back and commune with my favorite VA backroads .”
