“Our family trip to Cabin in the Blue Ridge was perfect. The cabin was large enough to accommodate our group, with beds to spare. The kitchen had everything we needed, even large pots and pans, plenty of baking sheets, 2 coffee pots, and two ovens, plus there's a huge table for meals, and board games. There are bathrooms on each of the three floors, which is nice when you have a group. There was plenty of seating on the porches and the views from every side were just stunning. We could see...

“We had an amazing stay! When we walked in, the house was spotless and so inviting, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Our host was the definition of hospitality, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We loved hiking The Channels and attending the MLB Speedway Classic, even though the game got rained out the first time. “The Huckleberry Cabin was very cozy and nicely decorated. It was rustic and true to its original build in the 1800’s with modern upgrades. Walking through the front door was like stepping back in time. Great place to stay to get off the grid and reconnect with nature or unplug from the computer, but also close enough to town if you need supplies. ”

“We were celebrating our daughter’s 18th birthday with her friends and she is hitting the Appalachian Trail next year so she wanted to attend Trail Days. This cabin was a perfect place for both celebrating and getting much needed rest after a long day. My only suggestion is that you upgrade your pics because they do not do the cabin’s beauty justice. ”

“The best part for us was the quiet, privacy, and view that allowed us to relax. The cute cabin was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of linens and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked. The two porches had an amazing view. The walk down to the lake on the well-constructed stairs and landings to the dock was a hidden gem. We even caught some fish and would like to return again.”

“My wife and I really enjoyed the stay. It's close to downtown Tazewell, but far enough out of town that you feel like you're out in the mountains far from civilization. It's a quaint, new-ish wooden cabin with everything we needed for a couple days away. There's no TV, but honestly we didn't miss it, and it was nice to not mindlessly flip on the screen during downtime. I'd go back again for sure when traveling that way.”

"The lamp in the bathroom did not work. Very few lamps in room in general. Desk staff wanted to take the table lamp from the bedside and put in small bathroom. He said no one could fix until next day. Did not accept. He said he should talk to manager and left. No other rooms he said. We went down with all luggage. Said we wanted to cancel and book another hotel as was late and we wanted to go and eat. Then he said a man is coming to change the lamp. He did not seem to understand (or did not want to) that we wanted to cancel. We went back with luggage and a man came. He said he had blocked off the room for sale earlier as knew it was not ok…it would just take 20 mins. he said. We went out and was fixed when back. No compensation or anything offered- Room was small said on hotel.coms side that 28kvm. Not true. Also said there is a bar. Not true. No bar. Just one night stay at least. "
