Nice house, quiet neighborhood

Cute house tucked in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Easy access to anything you need including downtown (Alamo, river walk). Plenty of space, clean and well stocked. WiFi was great (had 5 kids remote learning on it) The pull out sofa needs repaired but that is the only complaint.

The light switch in upstairs bathroom would on shut off once every 20 switches. The fan did not work at all.terrible collection of dishes in kitchen. Very poor selection of silverware. No dressers to put clothes in. There were five adults staying there showering, the hot water was great.the dining room table was a great size for eight people.

Cute home away from home

We liked having a whole house to ourselves for a couple nights! The rooms were cozy and the house was well kept. The host was very helpful, kind and courteous when I had questions. Communication was excellent and easy. Definitely a great place to stay!

Where can I start! The house was beautiful! My kids were like this is fancy. It felt very homey and comfortable for my family. They had everything that we needed for our stay. I had planned on cooking so I bought silverware, pots, pans, dishes and other things I needed to cook meals. To my surprise the house was already stocked to cook whatever I needed to cook. They also had many type of seasonings if I needed it. That was a plus, though I had already brought what I needed. I loved how if something was forgotten, they had back up for me. Joe, the owner was very attentive when it came to any questions I had and the suggestions he had for the many things to do in San Antonio. Thank you so much for your hospitality and the next time we are in San Antonio, we will make sure we book with you again! Thank you so much!

The house was so clean and spacious. There was a nice little backyard patio and wine at check in. It really felt like a home away from home and Joe the owner/host was so helpful and responded within minutes with every question or concern I had. Thank you again. I'd stay here every time come to San antonio if I could!

Safety concern

Since I left the property I have been very concerned and having trouble sleeping at night. I have been contacting the property point of contact but have not received a response. As I departed the home, the Sheriff and Forensics teams entered the property. It seems there was a crime in the garage. I am in complete fear that whatever happened for the police to arrived could have happened to me and my family. I have not been told what happened. I strongly recommend you remove this property for the safety of others and I am very disappointed with the property point of contact for not warning us about anything. I want answers, I really feel that my family was in danger at that home. I had not sent a response to Hotels.com hoping I would get information from the property owner. Since I haven't heard from him, I decided to notify you. This has been my worst experience ever.

I should have paid attention to the bill details

Spacious, clean, very clear instructions for our stay. A "tax recovery and service fee" added 40 percent to the bill. For three bedrooms included with a whole house the total cost was reasonable but not the bargain I anticipated. I was just too busy and preoccupied when I made the booking but probably would have proceeded anyway. I certainly recommend the house for anyone looking for this style of accommodation.

Air Force graduation

Visited San Antonio during my Step Son's Air Force graduation and needed a place for the whole family to stay. The Cozy Manor worked out perfectly especially with a sometimes rowdy 3 year old and 5 adults. Less than 30 minutes to the base and centrally located to everything to see and do.

Our background: Two families in town for a wedding. We wanted a house so we could visit with one another more comfortably. Overall, we enjoyed staying in this property. Pros - VERY CLEAN, fresh (paint & decorating) and comfortable. Comfy sheets & linens Con's - (We gave feedback to owner so these things may improve) Cookware needs upgrade. (no non slip pans or cooking bowls, etc) We only cooked breakfast, but it was a challenge. Internet is slow. I couldn't check mail on the net book. We couldn't use it at all. Tiny TV - it would have been nicer to have a larger TV in the living room. (I Iike the fact that there at no tvs in bedrooms... It allowed people to REST after long day out and kept us together in the living room when the kids chose to watch it.) Tiny grill - I would get a bigger and gas grill for the house & add table/chairs to kitchen patio (so we could have eaten outside more conveniently.) Safety upgrades in bathroom needed (grab bars minimally, mats would be nice as tub is very slippery.) Door opens PRECISELY at 3. We had to sit in driveway for 20 mins. waiting. Why? Note: There are only 3 beds. Two of our kids had to share the living room couch pull-out. A day bed in the loft area would have been better sleeping. We highly recommend this home esp. if you just need it for sleeping. Hence the 5 star rating. However, if you want more to do (i.e.grilling, fire pit for family time, outdoor seating, etc., I would choose a different property. Cheers!

Cozy Manor, nice house in a good neighborhood but need a few updates. 1). The furniture is old. 2). Need more tv's. Can't have a house that sleep 8 with only 1 tv. 3). Cleaning crew don't clean very well. One of the trays in the freezer was nasty. The bottom of the toliets are dirty. 4). Can't use garage unless you drive a SUV unless you don't mind tearing up your car. OVERALL COZY MANOR IS A NICE PLACE TO STAY.
