  • Welcome to the Mallard Manor in downtown Boerne! This homey VRBO is just a short stroll to Main Street where you can enjoy a variety of restaurants, breweries, coffee shops & boutiques! It is located next door to one of Boerne's most iconic restaurants & breweries, The Dodging Duck. Enjoy great food, live music, drinks & explore all that Boerne has to offer! Want to stay in & relax? Pour a glass of wine or a cup of coffee & watch your favorite shows, sports or movies on the 65'' flatscreen.

    The Cibolo Creek park / trail which is located directly across the street from the house is open. It went under a major renovation over the last 6+ months and turned out great! Perfect area to walk your dog, run the trails or relax & read your favorite book. Fishing is allowed, but is catch & release (bring your own rod & tackle).


    Are you bringing your fur babies on vacation? Now they'll have a fenced in area to roam around! I just installed a little dog run on the side of the house in the yard, so now your pup will have a little room to let out a little energy as well as do their business. Please pick up after your dog :) Also, while using the dog run, guests must supervise their dog at all times. Please do not leave your dog in the area unattended.

Very positive experience! Clean and very comfortable beds! We enjoyed watching life from the porch and watching movies in a lovely living room. Caleb met us at the property and was very kind.

Perfect location for walking downtown Boerne, people watching, walking along the River Road park trail. We saw ducks & deer while sitting on the front porch.Caleb is very responsive, house was exactly as advertised & very clean. Highly recommend this property!!

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed staying here! The house was very clean with comfortable beds. And a huge plus for us was that it was within walking distance of downtown Boerne and Cibolo Creek.

Delightful Weekend

We had an amazing stay at Mallard Manor! It is very walkable for all of the local attractions, and the communication from the host is excellent. It is right across from the river trail and we walked it every day!

The location is amazing if you want to walk to businesses in Boerne. It was very nice to be able to have our dogs with us and have the River Road Park across the street. The street noise is pretty loud if that should be a concern for anyone. It is super easy to walk to food locations like the Dodging Duck and Pinchy’s Seafood.

This was an older house but suited our needs just fine. It was very clean inside although the yard needed care. It’s pet friendly but the yard isn’t fenced. There is a great park across the street where you can take your pet (lots of traffic so walk past the Dodging Duck and cross at the pedestrian-signaled crosswalk). Garage was unusable for parking because of washer/dryer. We found parking on side street much better that trying to back into driveway with all the traffic. The location is great!. We would certainly stay here again.

Short Family Getaway

Family enjoyed the place. Short walk to Main Street. We had our dog and being able to take him back when he got tired made it easy. We would stay again!

Weekend Get away

Enjoyed staying here! It was so close to the Main St. it also had a brewhaus right across the street that had great food, beer and wine. Enjoyed crossing the street to walk the trail along the Cibolo Creek. There are so many restaurants and breweries just a little walk away. We will stay here again.
